Layered Fragments, Becoming Whole

What I Bear To Witness

I wonder...
What it would look like
When you allow your carefully maintained walls to
Fall.
Will the blue crack
And then split wide open?
If I grazed my finger on yours,
Will it
Release the painful longing
the suffocating tension
we've held in to avoid
Touch...
For the sake of discipline,
Morals,
Values...
If you let go...
How will your mind reconcile the deep desire,
The curious,
The profane
of the experience?
Are you afraid... that it will then move
Like a hungry beast
To ravish all our surface areas,
Accepting delicious pleasure
Of primal skin
With deep emotional resonance
Until the climax leads to calm satisfaction?
What colors of blue will I witness?
I hope you hold my gaze...
What part of the soul will be given to me?
I want to be moved...
by your transformation orchestra,
I want to see all the way through
To experience
Another soul feeling,
Feeling
So completely
In surrender and giving
Your very essence
So
Willingly
Openly,
Vulnerable.

Maybe that's the closest I'll come to real
Existence.
