Layered Fragments, Becoming Whole

Strangely
The ache feels full
Complete somehow
Like the natural rhythm of the tides
Breathing in and out over sand
Extending far and wide along the coast
No defined boundary…
as far as the eye can see.

It
Scared
Me.

I never could look away from the deep
deep blue
Magnetic in its calm
Soulful- Datura…
Beauty in the stormy shadows
The pull
Has become
Soft…
Softly tethered
Overwhelmingly constant.
The mystery – poignant
Repelled by the intensity
Curious of what it could be
Warm surreal glow
A slow burn
Delicious…
Fleeting
Joy.

I tentatively gave in.

It was inaccessible before you
Like discovering for the first time
That the sweet heady scent
Of lightly crushed
green
grape
Unmistakably floral
A hint of wet musk…
Wafting in the summer air…
like the devil
Humid
Wanting
Raw
Somehow demure…

Jasmine.

Deep
Nuanced
Connection
Irreplaceable even without closure…
A wane smile at

sea shells
Washed ashore
Wabi Sabi~

Acceptance.

My heart served on a silver plate
Thumping,
Whole,
Bloody,

Bloomed to hold more…
Searching strangers eyes
Waiting
For that same tug…
