An Aerial Dance

As silk coiled into double ropes,

Looking above your head,

Pushing you to elope,

with the idea that bled.

Take the fabric wrap your body against it,

Climb up slowly,

As the sun rises commit,

The faint scent of neroli

Hold fast at the apex,

Survey your space,

This is your mountain vertex,

Now, Let go mimic lace.

Rolling down gently with the grace of a swan,

legs spread wide, dancers pose,

Twirling into dawn,

Hands matching the pace enclosed.

Coming to a pause,

Lovers embrace.
